Job Description:
About our client
Our client is the aftermarket division of a global automotive technology company. They provide a broad portfolio of high-quality spare parts, diagnostic solutions, training, and digital tools to distributors, workshops, and dealerships in over 100 countries worldwide.
In the Nordic region, they work closely with independent aftermarket distributors and partners to deliver sustainable growth, strong customer relationships, and excellent service levels. Join them to become part of a collaborative, international organisation where trust, autonomy, and professionalism matter.
The Role
As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and strengthening long-term partnerships with key distributors in the Nordic aftermarket. You will work independently while being closely connected to the Nordic sales team and report directly to the Area Sales Manager.
This role combines strategic account development with hands-on customer engagement and offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, values that are central to the Nordic way of working.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute joint business and development plans with key customers
- Identify customer needs, set clear priorities, and translate strategy into concrete action plans
- Build strong, trust-based relationships through regular customer visits and structured follow-up
- Proactively manage customer expectations and continuously improve service and satisfaction
- Identify value-added growth opportunities, including new product introductions and channel optimisation
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Customer service, marketing, supply chain) and external stakeholders
Your Profile
- Bachelors degree in business, commerce, marketing, engineering, or similar
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably within the Nordic region
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment
- Strong customer focus with solid negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-driven, structured, and able to work autonomously
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) and at least one Nordic language
- Analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
What They Offer
- A competitive salary and benefits package aligned with Nordic market standards
- A high level of trust, autonomy, and flexibility in how you organise your work
- A supportive, open, and informal working culture
- An international environment with close collaboration across countries and functions
- Access to the Active Talent Management Program, offering continuous learning and clear development opportunities
- Long-term career prospects within a global and future-oriented organisation
